Dog Fashion Predictions for 2006
Inspired by The Manolo, I have decided to give you my predictions for the Dog Fashions of 2006!
In Fashion For 2006
| Classic Glamour: This year the trend of glamorous yet classic clothing and accessories will continue to be hot. |
Faux Fur Coat - of course the fur must be faux! |
Diamond Collar with Faux Pearl Charms - what dog would not love this? |
 Pearl necklaces are always in style, and they go with anything. |
 Glamorous coat, and the matching toy is darling! |
| Cute and Stylish: What the fashionable dog is wearing in 2006. |
 This sweater is colorful, yet not “too much”. |
 All dog girls want to carry their own purse, especially one as lovely as this! |
| Practical: |

 The Manolo says “the fashion mania for the poncho it is indeed over.” What more needs to be said? |
 Didn’t leg warmers go out of style a long time ago? I guess nobody told this dog. |

Aw, I’m always a little sad when people dis on the leg warmers. In the Northeast (and I imagine in some of the world’s colder locales) there is nothing nicer when waiting for a late-coming bus or train in the frosty wintertime in one’s work skirt than a nice pair of color coordinated leg warmers.

Have you ever noticed that they don’t make anything that fits a Corgi? You try the Dachshund shop, and everything is too tight around the waist. Spaniel overcoats usually drape well, but so many trips to the tailor to get the legs shortened!
Just before New Year’s Eve I found a nice sweater at “Big-N-Tall Basenji” but it was wool, my poor dog got overheated and ran up a humongous bar bill with all those iced 7-Ups she guzzled!

I came here via Manolo. The Gigolo Kitty is anxious to know what the trend will be for kitties. His minions are working overtime getting his spring wardrobe ready (though he has doubts about the straw hats) and wants to make sure that he is the best dressed kitty in 2006.
