Dog Becomes “Mom” to Kittens
There is a cute story in the Gulf Daily News in Bahrain. According to the story,
A BAHRAIN dog has become a surrogate mother to three kittens who were neglected by their mother. Lucy, a stray dog, has been nursing and playing with the kittens since their mother Kitty lost interest in them, said Sri Lankan owner Nandane Rathnauaka.
Ms Rathnauaka, 37, said she was not able to give the three-month-old kittens away because Lucy will not let her.
