I noticed that some of the visitors to this site are looking for the best dog breed for them. Originally I linked to a quiz made by Purina that could help you with this.

The quiz asked a series of questions and then gave a list of dog breeds that would be good for you. The only thing I didn’t like about the quiz was that there were a lot of questions about dog food (I guess since that is what Purina makes), but other than that, I thought it was fun and informative.

However, the Purina quiz link does not work any more. They must have taken the quiz off of their website.

I did find this quiz for choosing a dog breed at Petnet.

2) How to choose the right breed. This article, titled “Choosing the Right Dog Breed for You”, tells the different types of dog breeds along with links to more information about each type. It also lists some things you should think about when choosing a dog breed.

3) List of dog breeds. This is a huge list of various breeds of dogs. A lot of them are linked to articles about the breed.

In addition, you can check out the links to various dog breeds at the bottom of this page. A lot of the descriptions will tell if the breed needs a lot of exercise, is good with children, etc.

Try to do as much research as you can before choosing the right dog for you.
