		<description>Perhaps this is like shooting my own foot here, but I&#039;m going to make a public statement: I sniff my dog. Not in, uhm, the parts *he* tends to sniff, of course. I simply like to put my nose against his head and &quot;smell&quot; him. His head has a nice scent, for a dog—not too strong, not icky, except when he rolls in weird stuff on the ground, that is. Perhaps it&#039;s also because it&#039;s a aprt of his body he can&#039;t lick ;)

I&#039;ve often wondered if it&#039;s not due to the fact that Vulcain is now comfortable at home. When we got him, he was quite smelly, and a friend once emitted the hypothesis that maybe it was because he was stressed and nervous, and that his odor changed when he started to feel more at ease. I&#039;m not sure about that, but the odor did change, indeed.

Alright, enough revealing of dirty dog-person secrets now.</description>
