Urban Pugs Are Safe From Katrina
A short time ago, I checked a blog that I look at once in a while, Urban Pug, and it was not there. I didn’t think too much about it, but today I happened to check again, and I found out why.
The author of the blog was living in the New Orleans area! Luckily they all escaped and are staying in Baton Rouge with friends. A kind pug breeder in Baton Rouge has taken in a lot of the evacuated pugs, so there are now 37 pugs staying in one place! They are calling it Pug City.
To all the humans and dogs connected with Urban Pug: We are all so glad that you are safe!!!
I was impressed that they had already started up the blog again. It only has a few entries, as the previous ones have not yet been recovered.
So go over to Urban Pug and check it out. It is really interesting to read some first-hand accounts of what is going on in the Baton Rouge/New Orleans area. And it is heartwarming to see the cute pictures of pugs who have survived the hurricane!
